Two of my photographer friends and I went for a drive down a federal road just south of Sisters, Oregon one evening, hoping to catch the sunset. We ended up finding a fantastic view of the Middle and North Sister just as the evening light was hitting the mountains. We sat for nearly two hours watching the light change and soaking in the sounds of the forest.
