This picture represents my most cherished moment whilst visiting Yellowstone NP. I grew up and have always lived in a city, so seeing the milky way has never been a possibility. When I got the opportunity to go to YNP though an after-school photography program, I thought that that might finally be my chance. I woke up at 3 in the morning, set up my tripod, and captured this photo. The joy I felt seeing the pure night sky for the first time is what I think about the most when I look at this picture.
