This photo was taken in the Great Hall at Grand Portage National Monument on day 1 of 2023 Grand Portage Rendezvous Days and Pow Wow. Over 200 reenactors participated in Rendezvous this year. Rendezvous is a historical celebration of the early fur trade in the region. Grand Portage was primary trading post and transportation depot from 1784-1803.
