My friend and I took a girl's road trip to White Sands National Park in winter. I saw puppy tracks in the pristine white gypsum sand, and that is what drew my eye when I took this shot. I think this shot is so peaceful; however, just moments before this was taken, my friend had dropped the car keys in the sand and we spend a half an hour digging for them. Luckily, we found them and were able to quickly snap out of our panic just in time to enjoy the golden light, a nice prelude to a magical sunset over the New Mexico sky.
