Nakmaktuak Pass is a route between the peaks of the Brooks Range in Gates of the Arctic National Park. Me and a group of friends walked up the tundra laiden pass like a ramp on our way to the upper headwaters of the Ambler River during a summer solstice packrafting adventure in the arctic.
