Zion was one of the most challenging hikes I’ve been on, with a vast open area and canyons that towered over everything. The hike was gradual, but I with ever step I started to feel the vertigo, knowing one misstep could mean the difference between life and death. This was as high up as I got, but man was it gorgeous. There really is nothing like it; a harmony of red rocks and greenery that stretch for miles.
