This shot of Upper Ice Lake and the surrounding glacial Basin was taken near the saddle of Freezer Pass while backpacking in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. The sun had just started setting as we reached this point nearing our planned camp near the lake. The granite basin was breathtakingly beautiful!
