My friend and I hiked out to Linton Lake in November of 2022 just to see something different, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of color still remaining on the leaves surrounding the lake. The trail starts in the Willamette National Forest and fairly quickly goes into the Three Sisters National Forest. It's a hidden gem that not many people think to traverse, but the occasional overnight camper can be found there. Beautiful reflections and serene forest make this a fantastic hike.
