This little Alpine Aster caught my eye during a motorcycle trip in the Gunnison National Forest, north of Crested Butte, CO. Despite the ever present wind in the mountains, I found this pretty little guy and was able to capture the memory. I recall loving how bright and courageous it seemed, living near 11,000'.
