Brown Bears have the right-of-way on all trails in the park. When we encountered this bear near Brooks Falls we moved off of the the trail to let it pass and it gave us a glance as it moved by. The NPS has done a tremendous job managing people so bears are not attracted to them and providing an unforgettable experience.
