I hadn’t been to Jackson Hole for some time but I was able to get a cheap flight into Idaho and drive over. The morning of this shot I was lucky enough to see several moose on my drive north toward Flagg Ranch. I stumbled upon a wolf walking on the white line to the south and followed it for an hour before turning south toward Jackson Lake. Just after I entered Grand Teton NP I saw a fox doing the same thing. I found a nice quiet place to watch and watched as the fox got closer and closer. It played and wandered around where I had parked for the rest of the afternoon.
