A short skip away from Tallahassee, the St Marks Wildlife refuge provides an escape from the city life and a chance to take in the beauty of nature. Pictured here are just a small portion of the miles of trails at the Panacea Unit of the St. Marks NWR. Also pictured is something I saw when hiking on the trail. You couldn't miss the vibrant green palms showing the resiliency after fire as they stuck out against the charred landscape.
