Chicago natives here! Last August, my partner and I hit the road, setting our sights on South Dakota and Wyoming. We're suckers for a good sunrise and, while we knew dawn was prime time for wildlife, the deer activity still took us by surprise. This beautiful buck was in the distance and then eventually made his way up and onto the road where I waited.
