Taken at the head of the trail that leads to one of Mt. Rainer's iconic fire-lookout towers, this shot reminds me of the complexity of Mother Nature, herself. A contrast between the geography of the lowlands, where mountain goats were actively roaming, and the geography of the summit of Mt. Rainer, itself; a snow-covered wonderland that is destined for only the most dedicated of dreamers.
