I set out to shoot the Milky Way in Lassen Volcanic National Park in July 2023 with an open mind. After getting there and seeing how calm the wind was, I just knew I had to get the Milky Way looming over and reflecting on Emerald Lake. This is now one of my favorite photos I’ve taken.
