Colville Tribal members and onlookers gather at the beach for the annual salmon ceremony commemorating the end of the Salmon run . Salmon no longer spawn in the Upper Columbia River which becomes Lake Roosevelt. The mighty Columbia River was dammed behind The Grand Coulee Dam in 1939.
