On a solo trip to the mountains in Western North Carolina, I spent the day cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, pulling off at nearly every overlook. I took this photo at Waterrock knob after hiking a short bit to the top of the vista. This photo depicts the impressiveness of the blue ridge parkway, weaving in and out of the ridge line. I loved the view from up here, as many often do not see the parkway from above.
