This photo is a blend of the foreground taken during blue hour and a 12 image stack of the Milky Way. This was taken with my 83 year old Mom during our National Park road-trip to see all the parks in Colorado. This was the first Milky Way captured on our trip. Weather did not cooperate at Mesa Verde. I love how you can see the Gunnison River at the bottom. You can even hear it from way up top. This is one of my favorite Milky Way photos shot at a National Park.
