I discovered a small patch of Western Meadow Rue when on a walk along a trail at Grand Targhee Resort and was captivated by its wistful threads and light purple color. This was the first time I had ever seen this flower before and was excited to discover something new and unique. One of my favorite things about nature photography is that it forces me to look closer at the world around me, go places I might not normally go, and allows me to discover things I otherwise never would have experienced.
