This photo is of an abandoned cabin along the Smiley Creek in the Sawtooth National Forest. My family has been coming to the Sawtooths for generations and would go fishing along this area with my great grand parents. We've visited this area and the abandoned cabin many times and its been an important part of our families history and connection to each other. This year we decided to camp up the creek and were worried that the recent fire would have burned the cabin down but we were so happy to find it still standing and to be able to continue making memories there. The Sawtooths hold a very special place in mine and my families heart and we are always so grateful for the time we are able to spend surrounded by its beauty.
