A flood warning in early May had been lifted and replaced with a freeze warning the day before my friend and I started our much anticipated trip to Yosemite. Despite being told by fellow travelers and locals that it was too late to enter the park (6pm) and we should just get an early start the next day, we couldn’t contain our excitement and went anyway. So thankful we did or we wouldn’t have seen this magical sight! Yosemite was more beautiful than I imagined! I always thought photos I had seen were just photoshopped!
