The more otherworldly a place is, the more I enjoy getting lost out there and exploring every inch that I can. The ah-shi-sle-pah wilderness in New Mexico is the top of my list for places that feel the most like another planet. After days of wandering and exploring I found these almost alien looking sand structures right as a thunderstorm began rolling in. Wanting to save my camera equipment I took the shot as fast as I could and ran back to my car before the downpour came.
