Crater Lake National Park

I'm a sucker for places that feel surreal and completely outside of the realm of normal experience and few places in the world feel as out there as a national park that is literally inside of a giant crater site with its own lake and magic island rising up from the middle. After a day spent exploring and not really feeling like any picture was fully capturing the incredible scope of this place, I figured the only possibility was to get to higher ground and shoot it as a panorama that really covered everything. It took me a couple of sunrise attempts, but it worked out in the end! This place is truly epic.
