I spent years dreaming about this image. It took nearly as long to get a chance to take it. A lot of planning went into getting this...it was more than worth it. Not only is this one of my favorite photos, but the experience of being surrounded by thousands of fireflies was amazing. Alone a firefly is beautiful, together, they are magical - they make enough light to see by in the pitch black!
