When this photo looks like it was in the fall it's not. It's in the spring and there was a haze of smoke in the air from a prescribed burn. This caught my eye as this long leaf pine ecosystem show how the South used to be with a whole lot more long leaf pines. The beauty of looking out over a lake with smoke haze and long leaf pines in the distance.
