A sunset from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is just as special as sunrise. It was an early spring evening when my partner suggested an impromptu drive to the top, before the reservation system was in place. Alongside other visitors from all walks of life, we enjoyed the changing colors and cloud textures as the sun sank beyond the horizon.
