A Rocky Mountain Bighorn lamb was relaxing in the shade of the Badlands with its mother one day when I happened upon them; the lamb had been testing its balance on the vertical walls. Nimbly navigating these exposed slopes comes naturally to bighorn sheep, and you could definitely tell that this precocious little lamb was on its way to a lifetime of climbing.
