My partner and I visited this park on a very stormy day in late March that closed most of the park except the road to the visitor center and path to the Earth Lodge. We thought the visitor's center was closed
( it had no power) but a ranger surprised us by opening the door. Not only that, but setting out floodlights so that we and two or three others could enjoy the inside museum exhibits. This was not just an adventure on a very bad weather day, but a testament to the hardworking park rangers!
