We observed this purple pitcher plant and the meal it had in its cup. My daughter said the beetle inside was about to be beetlejuice, which flew over my head and took me a minute for me to catch up to what she was saying. This purple pitcher plant also had a bigger insect at the bottom, it's awesome how carnivore plants survive!
