A favorite fall hike for our family, my 8 and 5 year old have been on this trail since being backpacked as babies. When you come around the corner and down to the edge of Stanton Lake, it’s like fall is ushering you into its chilly air and yellow highlights abound. We just happened upon this heart-shaped aspen leaf floating on the edge on our latest autumn trek.
