I've been wanting to take this photo for ten years, but the weather didn't cooperate until February 2023. An unusually low elevation snowfall blanketed the hotel ruins on Echo Mountain above Pasadena, California. This is part of the funicular machinery that transported guests to the hotel in the early 20th century.
