I have always loved watching butterflies when I am out hiking, but I have had very little success in photographing them. Invariably, just as I am ready to take a shot they fly off. This Red Admiral Butterfly apparently didn't get the memo or was just too busy feeding from this thistle to notice me sneaking up on it.
