We live inTucson, Az. in desert area, so I was astounded at the lush green forest & plants in Shenandoah. I kept looking up at the tall trees in amazement thinking how proud I was of a tree I planted in Tucson & it was mature at 20' which amused me. We camped in a wonderful park campground & it was foggy & so calm & the mood with the mist was exciting for me as we might see fog maybe about 3 times back home.
We got to watch this beautiful deer eat some leaves for a few photos before it disappeared into the dense green plants. I sure would love to see Shenandoah in the fall colors some day.
