I was ecstatic to see just how many ground squirrels there are in the Rocky Mountains, and how friendly they are! These guys spent the day running around, eating plants, and approaching visitors. I was at an overlook when I took this particular shot and the squirrels seemed to enjoy the view as much as I did.
