Sunset at Badwater Basin! This was my first trip to Death Valley and my first time at Badwater Basin. I planned on shooting either north or south and spent at least an hour finding the right ridges in the salt for my composition. Then as sunset progressed the north and south views never really lit up and this scene started to unfold over the mountains. I had to hurry to find new ridges to complement the photo and did the best I could.
