My other half, has worked for the US Forest Service, And BLM, and learning that you can rent a Fire Lookout has been one of the greatest things to rent in the summer time. Even though its fun to disconnect and get away from the world in a different way we still keep an eye out for new fire starts, smoke, and watching Storms if they come rolling though. We have been to a few different ones, like ones where you have to backpack in, and others you can drive up to. Its always a fun adventure when you finally get the door open and see what's inside, we have been to ones with nothing but a bed and desk, and another with almost everything you need to live in one. I cant wait to see the ones we go to next summer.
