East met West on the first transcontinental railway in 1869. The golden spike was driven into the railway here, uniting the two halves of our nation. Today these two trains (the Jupiter and the No. 119) remind us of this significant moment in American history and inspire us to forge new frontiers in our own day. Plus, they are just cool to look at!
