Unfortunately, the forest fires were happening during one of our many visits to our beloved Yosemite National Park. One of the surprising side effects of this was that the smoke in the air lent its way to one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnessed up here at Glacier Point (viewpoint). I will forever remember those pinks, purples that gave way to orange and red as the night went by.
