Chasm Lake, Rocky Mountain NP
This was my third hike in RMNP and I finally acclimated to the altitude. I originally planned to hike Longs Peak but decided to do something lighter first. In fact this trail is quite strenuous but so beautiful. You see a lot of lakes, streams and waterfalls. All in front of Longs Peak, the highest RMNP mountain. When you finally pass over the last rock and see Chasm Lake you don't believe. It has so many colours. The sunlights are diffracted by the mountains around, reflected many times on the lake and the rock walls. Your eyes have vertigo. Original RAW file is edited in Capture One for more contrast but the colours are natural. You must see it!
