🧥 Layer up, it's cold
🦆 Locate which pond the geese spent the night in
👂 Listen, lots of geese are noisy
🔦 Its kind of dark, but follow the noise & you see light on the horizon
❄ Did I mention it's cold?
🤔 Wait...
💃 Dance around because your toes are growing numb
🥶 Wait, did I mention it's cold?
🤔 Wait some more. We're on geese time now
🌅 At 6:41 a.m. the sun starts to rise.
🙌 Hooray, maybe it will warm up
🛫 6:43 a.m. we have lift off
💩 As they fly towards and ultimately over you, listen for bird turds following from the sky 🙄 and pray 🙏 it doesn't land on you.
🌅 Then turn around and watch thousands of geese fly toward the sunrise 😍
🤩 Marvel at the sight and the sound and enjoy every single minute of it. Totally worth the early wake-up, the numb toes, the fingers hurting from the cold, and trying not to wet my pants after 2 cups of coffee.
It's kind of addictive (the bird watching 👀 thing)
