Down below Castillo San Cristobal is a dungeon. I was lucky enough to be permitted to go down for a brief look at some amazing art that was left by a prisoner nearly 500 years ago. It was of the ships that he sailed over on - the Nina, The Pinta and The Santa Maria. The art was beautiful, but difficult to photograph in the short time I was down there. It was also amazing to learn that it was all drawn in almost pitch dark. On the walk down there the sun hit the tunnel just right to make a glowing ring.
