I was leaving HOH Rain Forest (HRF) after a day of hiking and phot hunting. I was mesmerized by the golden glow of this lake / pond just right out side the parking lot of (HRF). It reminded me of this scenery in a beautiful movie I saw decades ago; "On Golden Pond". I immediately pull over to the side of the road and took photos of the lake at different angles wit my Nikon D850. Out nowhere came this family of ducks that seemed to be having a delightful "family outing". I rushed to pull out my Tamron 100-400 and it on my camera with Cokin graduated ND filters 4 & 8. The ducks were moving fast that I did not have time to check composition and exposure. The shot was registered at: 400 mm, f6.3 at 1/100 sec with ISO 400. I had to crop and adjust exposure using Adobe Lightroom.
