We visited this section of Great smoky Mountains on our annually fall camping trip and hiking into this area was well worth it. It's not a strenuous hike but a pleasant one. Midnight hole off big creek has a beauty that will take your breath away. So will the frigid water but we did not swim this go round for the temperature outside was a little chilly also. But to sit here and enjoy this view was quite nice with hardly the crowds that the summer brings.
