The setting sun illuminated Castle Rocks giving it an orange glow and showing the fine dusting of snow it had received in the last couple weeks. The snow covered peak to the left of the photo and in the distance is Mount Eisen. Castle Rocks are the spires of granite in the center of the photo. This photo was taken at the lookout while leaving Sequoia National Park.
