This photo was taken along one of the beaches on Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, on the coast of Lake Superior. We hiked to Chapel Rock and were treated to the surprise of the beach area where we could see Chapel Rock against the water. One thing that really struck me was how there was also so much water flowing in from the other direction. There was a small stream creating a short waterfall coming from one side, with the waves from Lake Superior lapping on the other. I thought it made a really interesting composition of water flowing in from both directions to meet each other in the middle.
