While driving one early evening, not far from the Lamar Valley, we noticed this mother black bear watching her 2 black cubs frolicking nearby in the grassy meadow. Also, nearby was a lone young elk, who I expected might be supper soon and another mother black bear with her two cubs, one cinnamon, one black.
