This photo only exists because of a kind stranger (and fellow photographer) I met in the park. My brother and I ventured to Jordan Pond, cheap tripod in hand, and very little knowledge about night photography. We spied a light at the pond's edge and ventured towards it--good thing this is a National Park and not a Stephen King novel. At the water's edge we met a woman who gave me advice and shared her stories from many years visiting the park. We never exchanged names and, due to the darkness, I would not be able to recognize her face. If she ever sees this message, I want to say "thank you!" again for helping me capture this incredible shot!
