I took this photo while driving through Lake Isabella on Spring 2020, one of the towns within Sequoia National Forest.
In the back, you see Nicolls Peak, draped in recent snowfall. In the front, you see desert filled with Joshua trees and Cholla Cactus.
I like this photo because it shows both the desert and snow, two different sorts of extremes climates, and yet life still finds a way to exist.
