When peering into Bryce Canyon’s great bowl from above, it provides an unequaled spectacle. Glaring down into a maze of rocks carved by the most delicate work of nature is a breathtaking visual feast, but descending down into the spire-shaped, crimson-red hoodoos is a whole other experience of grandeur and wonder. A glimpse into the geology of these unique formations starts to be revealed and yet just seem inexplicable and incomprehensible.
