My husband and I were camping near Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and decided to take a day trip to Arches National Park. We arrived before sunrise to catch the sun peaking from behind Balance Rock to form a starburst.
While reviewing my photos later, I found the starburst in this photo showed a ray of sun deflecting down to the ground to form a beam of light which hit the ground, like a flashlight beam lighting up the grass.
